I’ve read that beer gets skunked by light and not really by warming, although that can hurt the flavor. I want to bring the beer into my dark basement (where I usually keep it) and its about 50 degrees down there but I don’t know if that is the best choice. Should I just keep it on the porch and cover it with dark blankets or something? Would the beer already be bad?
The beer a porter, it is in brown bottles and still in the box- I”m hoping it got very little light.
